1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using apexmodule.com (the "Site") or purchasing any product from Apex Modules ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or purchase our products.

2. Products & Compatibility

Apex Modules sells wireless CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit modules for compatible vehicles. It is your responsibility to:

• Verify that the product is compatible with your specific vehicle year, make, model, and factory infotainment system before purchasing.
• Provide accurate vehicle information during checkout. We are not responsible for incorrect orders resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer.
• Understand that product images are for illustrative purposes and the actual product may vary slightly.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud.
• Sales tax may be applied where required by law.

4. Shipping & Delivery

• Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Shipping times vary by location.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or events outside our control.
• Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
• It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address. We cannot be held liable for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

5. Returns & Refunds

• We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging.
• A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund on all approved returns, no exceptions.
• To initiate a return, contact us at support@apexmodule.com.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item, minus the 25% restocking fee.
• Products that have been installed, damaged, or modified are not eligible for return.

Order Cancellations & Address Changes

• There is a 4-hour grace period from the time your order is received during which you may contact us to cancel your order or update your shipping address.
• After the 4-hour grace period has passed, we are unable to cancel orders or make changes to the shipping address.
• To request a cancellation or address change within the grace period, email us immediately at support@apexmodule.com with your order number.

6. Warranty

Our products come with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, accidents, or modifications. If you believe you have received a defective product, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

7. Installation

Installation of our products should be performed by a qualified technician or individual with experience working with automotive electronics. Apex Modules is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle, infotainment system, or other components resulting from improper installation. By purchasing our product, you assume all risks associated with installation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of Apex Modules and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apex Modules shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Site or products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Site and products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, except as expressly stated in our limited warranty. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
